These terms apply to posolix.com and to the Posolix service, including the API, webhooks, dashboard and email alerts (together, "the service"). The service is operated by Nodeledger OÜ ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you agree for that organization.

Access
Anyone can create an account, which starts with a 7-day free trial. Posolix is a young service: it may change, and features, limits or data sources may be added or removed. We'll tell you before a change that removes something you pay for.
Plans and payment
- New accounts get a free trial of 7 days, which needs no card and ends on its own: we won't charge you unless you choose a paid plan. When the trial ends, alerts, webhooks and API access pause until you do. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices on the pricing page when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which we add where required.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and you're charged for the next period then, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Plan & billing in the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
- Upgrades take effect straight away and are charged pro rata for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next period.
- Payments are not refundable for partly used periods, except where the law requires otherwise or we end your access without cause.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A new price applies from your next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
- Each plan has limits, such as saved searches, users, API requests and webhook endpoints, shown on the pricing page.
- If a payment fails, we email you and Stripe tries the payment again over the following days, while your plan keeps working. If it still fails, the subscription ends and alerts, webhooks and API access pause until you choose a plan again. Your data and settings are kept.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you buy a paid plan as a consumer, that is for purposes outside your trade, business or profession, and you live in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason.
When you buy, you ask us to start the service straight away, so that you can use it during those 14 days. If you then withdraw, we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the time you had the service before telling us.
To withdraw, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, for example by email to info@posolix.com. You can use the model form below, but you don't have to. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the payment method you paid with.

Business customers don't have this right of withdrawal.
Accounts and API keys
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your login and API keys secret.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and keys. Tell us right away if a key leaks, and revoke it in the dashboard.
- We may suspend or revoke access that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
- On plans with several users, the account's admins can invite and remove users and manage the plan and billing. Admins are responsible for the users they invite. When a user is removed, their saved searches and webhooks move to the admin who removed them.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Exceed or work around rate limits, or share keys to get around them.
- Disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or access other users' data.
- Use the service to break the law or to mislead people, for example by presenting the data as official FDA or NIH information.
- Resell or give access to the service itself (for example, by reselling API access) without a written agreement with us.
You may build products on the data and show it to your users, provided you follow these terms and the terms of the original sources.
Data and sources
The data comes from public US government sources: ClinicalTrials.gov, Drugs@FDA through openFDA, and DailyMed. We collect it, store versions of it and detect changes, but we don't create or verify it. It may contain errors, gaps or delays, including ones introduced by us. Always check important information against the official source. See the disclaimer for more.
Not medical or investment advice
Posolix is a data and notification service. Nothing it provides is medical, legal or investment advice. Don't use it as the only basis for decisions about health, treatment or investments.
Your content
Saved searches, subscriptions, webhook endpoints and other settings you create stay yours. We use them only to run the service for you.
Our property
The Posolix software, website, design and brand belong to us. The underlying public data is not ours, and nothing in these terms limits your rights to it from the original sources.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for decisions made using the service. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using the service at any time, cancel a paid plan as described above, and delete your account from the Account page in the dashboard (or ask us to). We may end your access with notice, or right away for a serious breach of these terms. If we end a paid plan without cause, we'll refund the unused part of the period.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and email account holders at least 30 days before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there or in Estonia. Disputes with business customers are settled by the courts of Estonia.
